FKM O-Rings Description:

This fluoroelastomer is very versatile and can be altered through its Fluorine content to cater to many industry needs.

FKM O-rings offer excellent resistance to high temperatures, ozone, oxygen, mineral oil, synthetic hydraulic fluids, fuels, aromatics, and many organic solvents and chemicals. This makes it an excellent material to be used for making O-rings, gaskets, and sealing materials.  O-rings manufactured from genuine Viton®  also provide excellent permeability and compression set resistance.

These O-rings perform well in engine systems & advanced fuel and provide improved system reliability for extreme temperatures for fuels, oils, transmission fluids, and acid condensates. These O-rings also protect against seal failure and extend maintenance intervals since they don’t need a lot of maintenance.

Properties:

Good Wear Resistance, Excellent Comp. Set Resistance, Moderate Short-Term Resilience, Excellent Permeation Resistance. *Can be ordered in higher durometers for high-pressure applications to prevent extrusion or ordered in lower durometers for fast sealing in lower pressure applications.

Temperature Range:

-15ºF to 400ºF

Recommended For:

Vacuum, Most Acids / Chemicals, Halogenated Hydrocarbons, Di-Ester Lubricants, Petroleum Oils / Fuels, Silicone Oils / Greases

NOT Recommended For:
