Silicone O-Rings contain Silicone rubber, an elastomer composed of silicone—itself a polymer—containing silicon together with carbon, hydrogen & oxygen. Silicone rubber is generally non-reactive, stable, and resistant to extreme environments. Silicones should be considered to be non-petroleum resistant, but useful in specific high anline point petroleum oils.

Silicone O-Rings Properties:

Poor Wear Resistance, Excellent Comp. Set Resistance, Poor Short-Term Resilience, Excellent Permeation Resistance.

Silicone O-Rings Temperature Range:

-65ºF to 450ºF

Silicone Recommended For:

Dry Heat, Wide Temperature Range, Sunlight, Ozone, Weathering, Odorless and Non-Toxic

Silicone NOT Recommended For:
