EPDM O-Rings Description:
An O-ring is also known as a packing or toric joint and is a mechanical gasket shaped like a doughnut. When compressed between connecting surfaces, O-ring blocks the entry and exit of liquids or gases. EPDM O-rings are a family of synthetic elastomers that offer low-cost steam and chemical resistance, particularly in areas of applications that entail the use of solvents, acids, and other mild chemicals. At AS&P, we have a wide variety of EPDM O-rings and custom EPDM O-rings manufactured as per your specifications. This way, we can ensure that the EPDM o-rings that you need are always made available to you. Whether it’s for water systems, braking systems, medical, pharmaceutical, food or dairy use, you can rely on us to deliver high-quality O-rings to you quickly.
EPDM rubber (ethylene propylene diene monomer) is an elastomer which is characterized by a wide range of applications. EPDM exhibits satisfactory compatibility with fireproof hydraulic fluids, ketones, hot and cold water, and alkalis, and unsatisfactory compatibility with most oils, gasoline, kerosene, aromatic and aliphatic hydrocarbons, halogenated solvents and concentrated acids.
